Q: What is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)?A Registered Massage Therapist is the professional designation for a person who has trained and completed competency-based education at educational institutions recognized by the Government of Ontario, in Canada. The regulated health profession known as Massage therapy should be performed by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT or MT). Only members of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario are permitted to use the title, Massage Therapist or Registered Massage Therapist or the designation of RMT or MT. We have fully licensed and professional Registered Massage Therapists, Registered Osteopathist and Registered Acupuncturist at TrustyMed Clinic. Whether you are coming in for massage therapy, osteopath, or acupuncture, you should be confident that you will in good hands!

Q: Is walk-in / appointment service available at TrustyMed Clinic?Currently, our service can be provided by appointment only due to COVID-19 regulations provided by Government. Please call us and make your appointment prior to your arrival. Walk-in service may be restored in the future by the regulations from Government. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Q: Do massage therapists (or TrustyMed Clinic) have Cancellation Policies? What if the appointments are missed?Yes, we have cancellation policies at TrustyMed Clinic. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment with our massage therapists (or TrustyMed Clinic), please contact us by phone at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If your cancellation is not notified or confirmed within 24-hour time frame or you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full cost of the service as booked.

Q: Do you offer direct billing?Yes, we provide direct billing to most insurance companies, for example, Great West Life, Canada Life, Sun Life, Manulife, and Green Shield. For a full list of companies that we can directly bill to, please contact us. Please be sure to ask your insurance provider whether your massage therapy (or part of it) is covered by your health plan before receiving a treatment. Client is responsible for payment of the fees associated with your service from TrustyMed Clinic, regardless of coverage grated by a benefits provider.

Q: What if direct billing is not set up to my insurance company? Or direct billing system is down/unavailable during my visit at TrustyMed Clinic?If your insurance company is not set up for direct billing with TrustyMed Clinic, or direct billing system is unfortunately down/unavailable during your visit at TrustyMed Clinic, please be prepared with an alternate form of payment. A receipt will be provided and signed by the RMT that treated you after your treatment. You may use the receipt to arrange for reimbursement with your insurance company. TrustyMed Clinic will not be responsible for your eligibility or process of reimbursement from your insurance company. Please contact your insurance company about your reimbursement details and process.

Q: What payment methods are accepted at TrustyMed Clinic?Currently we are accepting payments by cash, debit cards, and credit cards. Email transfer may be accepted. Please confirm with us if you would like to pay via email transfer prior to your service.
